Friday Favorites

Favorite Facebook:  Proverbs 31 Ministries.  Very uplifting.

Favorite Instagram:  Anderson Cooper.  I love his photo booth pics! 

Favorite Day: Wednesday.  I got my nails done, had lunch with my friend, Kari.  Saw my sis and b-i-l, and Travis came home from huntin'.  GOOD DAY!

Favorite Restaurant:  Do food trucks count?!

Favorite Blog:  Iowa Girl Eats.  It’s where I stole the idea for Friday Favorites.

Favorite Dessert:   Macaroon Sundae at Lolo Steakhouse.  Oh Em Gee.  So Delicious!  And it was worth the $5 that I have to put in the “Road to Good Health Plan” pot.

Favorite Refreshment:  Aveda tea.  I've had gallons of it this week!

Favorite Bite:  Habenero Salsa.  With Blue Corn Chips.  

Favorite Book:  I figured out why I’m not reading.  I’m in a good book slump.  I have been trying to find that next great read, and it’s not working.  I just started “My Family and Other Animals” by Gerald Durrell.  The intro is hilarious, so it has promise!  “When the unconventional Durrell family can no longer endure the damp, gray English climate, they do what any sensible family would do: sell their house and relocate to the sunny Greek isle of Corfu.  My Family and Other Animals was intended to embrace the natural history of the island but ended up as a delightful account of Durrell’s family’s experiences, from the many eccentric hangers-on to the ceaseless procession of puppies, toads, scorpions, geckos, ladybugs, glowworms, octopuses, bats, and butterflies into their home.” –Barnes and Noble Overview

Favorite Song:  Demons by Imagine Dragon.  My iTunes store isn't working so no link today.  Boo.

Favorite TV Episode:  Help me, Jesus.  I have a problem.  The TV this fall is SO good.  Best new comedy?  Ben and Kate.  I nearly peed my pants.  Best new drama?  Last Resort.  Edge.of.my.seat!  Best guilty pleasure?  Elementary [Side note, during the first episode, I totally judged Jonny Lee Miller and thought his English accent was horrible.  Turns out, he just did a KILLER American accent for Eli Stone.  Who knew?]  Favorite return?  Too many to name.  Okay, I’ll name them.  Glee, New Girl, Revenge, Parenthood, Dexter, Homeland, Raising Hope, Mike and Molly, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, Anderson Cooper, Scandal, Once Upon A Time, Blue Bloods, Person of Interest, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, The Mentalist, Hawaii-50.  And I named most of those from memory.  See?  A PROBLEM!  AND.  I have a good memory when I don’t even need it.  Ridiculous.

Favorite Thing To Do:  I think we pretty much covered that.

Favorite Thing To Look Forward To:   I just planned a trip to Vegas to see my BFF, Scott.  We’re going at the same time as Jackie to cheer her on in a marathon, end of November, early December.  In 55 days.  Not that I’m counting.
