My journey on the Road to Good Health has been paved with many potholes, dirt and gravel, and smooth surfaces.
I've learned so much about how to have good health. Now if I could just make the choices daily (sure, sometimes hourly) to ensure MORE of it!
Last night I skipped dinner. And I know that if you skip meals you won't "release" weight. And sure enough. The scale said I gained 2 lbs. Ugh. I know to eat small meals every 2-3 hours. But sometimes I'm still full from the previous meal and don't feel like it. It isn't about whether you feel hungry or not...it's about keeping your metabolism going (eating breakfast was the second hardest thing I've changed about my eating habits...it took me over a month not to feel nauseous before, during and after breakfast...now my body is used to it) and turning your input into energy NOT fat. After tracking my food today, I see that I'm not getting enough protein, and that really explains my sluggish feeling today. *honk shoo*
I've learned I can maintain my weight. NOW it's time to kick it into gear and RELEASE MORE!
