On August 31, 2014, I was baptized.
I was baptized in the Methodist Church when I was 15 years old, but it didn't have the meaning it does today. It was part of confirmation (which all the kids were doing) and when the minister sprinkled my forehead, he said my name wrong. I remember not being too happy about it when my Grandma said, "Don't worry, God knows your name."
After service (where I gave my testimony, you can see it on YouTube, here:
La's Testimony. It starts at minute 6:25, but the whole service is, as always, really good) we went to Bell Crossing of the Bitterroot River. It was a gorgeous day. The water was really cold and it started raining after. Which didn't bother me - I was already soaked!
Travis got home the night before from Idaho. I'm so grateful he could be there to witness my special day and capture these:

| This is my Godson, Lyle Miller, playing in the river. |
| Pastor Glenn talking about how special the day is. |
| This is Dave. His testimony is extremely meaningful to me. I'm so glad Travis captured this. |
| Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? YES I HAVE! |
| I baptize you in the name of the Father... |
| ..the Son |
| ...and the Holy Spirit, Amen. |
| I wasn't crying. It was actually very awesome! |
| It was just frigid cold! |
| Of course we would be grinning ear to ear! |

Thanks to the special people of Jesus Community Church who were there to share and to Pastor Glenn for an amazing experience. It says in Matthew 28 "
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
