There are other impressionist paintings-enjoyed it all.
Then we went across the street (I got to walk on the famous “locks” bridge - which is no longer the locks bridge since the locks made it too heavy and it had to be rebuilt, but it was still cool.) to the Musee d’Orsay. WHOA!
My favorite was learning that Van Gogh painted more than one Starry Night and this one I liked better:
I don’t have time to edit. :|
Darn - its blurry. Oh well.
I saw this in person, which is CRAZY since I posted about it yesterday.

These are “sketchettes” which reveal experiments for his famous “Sunday in the park with George”, my favorite painting of all time.
AND
THEN
THIS
This is another of my dream mental photos come to life. We went back to Trocadero for the light show.
The lights were magical. This place will always be my favorite as it was the place I first saw the Eiffel Tower. I keep being surprised at how emotional it makes me.
As the light show was going on, off to the side was a park and there were fireworks going off in the trees. I didn’t get it on video, but it will live on in my memories forever.
