I can't tell you how wonderful this man is! He has the most amazing voice and his music is all performed live...no machines or prerecordings. He has 15 people playing in his orchestra with unmatched talent. We had 2nd row seats with the stage to our left...about 4 sections down. None of us noticed the platform rise 30 feet in front of us for him to perform on. Just.for.us.
Someday I will learn how to use my camera in the dark, but I did get some good pictures. I'll have to upload them later since I'm typing this on my friend, Beth's iPad. iPad flaw #1...no USB port.
And you will want to see one of my photos that I took of him 2 FEET in front of us. If I was a stalker, I could have touched his face. Trust me, I was tempted!!!!!! He pulled people out of the audience and he talked to the young kid in front of us. Long enough for me to put down my camera out of respect, stare at him with the dumbest look on my face, be surprised by his very blue eyes (maybe contacts cuz they look brown in all pics) then realize it was stupid for me NOT to take a picture, and snap a very lame photo.
To Beth's point...why can't I be a 10 year old boy in the front row?
He is so funny and would make such a great friend. And, on the off chance Josh reads this, we're both available and make awesome BFFs. We love Elmo, too!
