Do you ever wake up and just KNOW you're going to have a great day? I did this morning even though I had the night from hell (storms in this state are CRAZY loud) and it was just that...a great day. It started with lunch with Nic & Ben, a great nap with their wild ass cat, who actually let me pet him and napped with me, and then girl's night out!!
I have such gratitude for the wonderful ladies I am blessed to call friends. I went to happy hour with 5 of them tonight and it was such a treat. I love that we can talk about anything without judgment...religion, kids/no kids, brazilians...and they know just the right thing to say, or if they don't, they sure make me laugh trying. But you know, they try. And they show up. And that's what matters. I appreciate the diversity and the caring souls that they are. I can't tell you how many friends like this I have...I was just lucky to spend it with a significant few tonight.
There is just nothing like the camaraderie of women and I was among the best tonight.
