Since this is the "cold" season, things are closed, or open late. I wanted to go to The Shed BBQ but it opens in March. We found a wonderful shopping area that CJ heard about even before we left. Many locals told us about it, but it eluded us until today. And it was two miles from our Bungalo ... in our resort...hiding. Its called Baytown Wharf and it had some great shops. In the summer it would be packed with people. Today, we nearly had the place to ourselves.
After shopping, we ate lunch at McGuire's Irish Pub. They are known around here for there burgers and I have to say, it was the best burger we ever ate. We donated our dollar to the ceiling/walls of dollars and had a cup of soup that only cost 18 cents. That our waitress didn't even charge us.
We also took advantage of the bikes out on the lanai. And rode a mile. I haven't been on a bike since I was a teenager. And I didn't die. LOL. It was actually really fun!
We spent an hour at the beach. Relaxing. In the cold and wind. Cold and wind. Hahaha. Nothing like the two feet of snow in my hometown.
We had dinner at the Melting Pot...fondue goodness and a perfect end to a fun day!
