Take 2. I typed up this whole blog and saved it in drafts so I could add Brendan's thoughts to it. It's missing so here I go again!
I have wanted to get out and enjoy the beautiful Denver sun and weather. And on Saturday, I am so glad that Mother Nature cooperated! Belfields had a scouting event earlier in the day so I slept in and went to lunch at PF Changs. I had the most amazing fortune from lunch, but I threw it away after typing it in before and can't remember it. It talked about being outdoors and a surprise.
Brent dropped Brendan off around 330p and off we went with cameras in tow! We drove by the stadium and Brendan had to "get a better picture" of it. They had been by before and he said this one was better:
First stop: Regis University campus, one of my favorite places in Denver:

| Even though it was overcast, the day was perfect and made a great background for the cool cross |
 |
| They smelled SOOO good! |
 |
| Brendan took this one. Talented! |
 |
| We laughed about this photo all day! |
 |
| There are quotes everywhere. "Happy"! |
 |
| Don't you tell your mother! |
 |
| Very serious photographer. |
 |
| This is my favorite photo from the day. From Brendan's perspective, "Everyone takes pictures of their feet, Aunt La." |
I asked Brendan where he wanted to go next. He said he wanted to see the big blue bear. I said, "The one that looks into the really tall building?" Glad he wanted to go there...Denver Performing Arts Center was on my list. I'd only been there at night and wanted to see it in the daytime.
When we got there and were looking for the bear (I knew it was at the complex somewhere, but not sure exactly where), a performance ended. While walking with the crowd of people, we came across a long row of rickshaws. Brendan's eyes lit up, mine probably lit up more! Neither of us had ever been in one and I'm certain this was our surprise from my fortune at lunch.

Guess what was right around the corner?...the big blue bear! We even got to ride in between his legs!

Dance anyone?

| This humored me. |
 |
| Sometimes you have to look up. |
 |
| Weird but cool looking art! |
 |
| Scott, our driver, said this looks the best at night, but cool background anyway. |
Satisfied with our photography awesomeness, we talked about going to dinner and a movie. We called Brent to see if it was okay and Brendan asked to talk to "Mimi". The phone conversation was the sweetest thing I have ever witnessed. He said he loved her and he would see her in the morning. I'm sure she said something just as loving back to him. Being around such a loving family is such a joy. And the love that boy has for his sister!! Fills the heart to the brim!
We went to Outback Steakhouse for a burger (and a quick one since the movie we wanted to see started at 7pm). We went to Pirates! Band of Misfits. It was humorous and just silly.
Here's Brendan's "blog post":
So stinkin' cute. I can't wait until our next adventure!
