My Daily List

Click here to watch my latest video.  Yesterday, I tried the scripted version.  It took me three attempts (which is a huge improvement over my first video ever which took over 50, I swear).  Today, I just decided to hit the record button and see what happened.  I made a ton of mistakes, but today, I don’t care.  That’s how I sound in real life (sans the nerves.  LOL).  I was so inspired by how sunny it is today.  Such a beautiful day that I wanted to capture for all eternity!  Full of gratitude.

I thought I’d share a recipe for one of our shakes.  This one is Trav’s favorite and I think he could eat it all three times/day.  I need variety, but this is still super stinkin’ easy.  How would it feel to NOT have to plan meals in your life?

USANA Shake:  Jones’ Fave!

1 serving USANA Dutch Chocolate Nutrimeal (which is 3 scoops…I only use 2 scoops in mine)
1 medium banana (we peel and cut ours into bite size pieces and freeze them in snack baggies)
2 TBSP Creamy Peanut Butter
8-10 oz liquid (you can use water, milk**, soy milk, almond milk, whatever)  We use almond milk, dark chocolate is our favorite
Crushed ice

Blend all ingredients in a magic bullet or blender until smooth.

And if you want more information about the REV3 I mentioned in the video, click here and select the middle picture. :)

Love & Prayers, Laura

**Milk:  According to The Kind Diet by Alicia Silverstone and the Blood Sugar Solution by Mark Hyman, MD, milk has natural growth hormones (duh, milk was designed to help babies – in all species – GROW) and they say that consuming dairy in excess hinders weight loss.  I’m not giving up cheese – EVER.  But I can reduce how much dairy I have otherwise.
