Health - What The Doctors Aren't Telling You

What Is Health? According to dictionary.com, health means:
  1. the general condition of the body or mind with reference to soundness and vigor: good health; poor health.
  2. soundness of body or mind; freedom from disease or ailment: to have one's health; to lose one's health.
  3. etc.
How many of you are experiencing crazy good health?

I know I'm on my way there.  It's a journey, you know?  I know someone who recently went to a family physician for her annual check up - and to get a baseline for all of her numbers (you know, the ones we need to know for our health?) and was told she was too young, too healthy (even though, like me, is in the overweight/obese category for her height) and shouldn't worry about those things.  And vitamins?  Pffttttt.  "Just eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, and you'll be fine".  Are you kidding me?  Sure, if I want to eat 18 pounds of broccoli and 20 oranges a day.  She won't be seeing that doctor again, and is happily taking vitamins, thank you. :)

Medical doctors are so important, but they are only one piece of many in the puzzle we call good health. So much research is important.  Take the time for yourself...you might be saving your life. And never be afraid to get a second opinion.
