I am thankful for the cold. For without it, I don't have warmth to look forward to.
I am thankful for the dark. For without it, sunshine wouldn't be as welcome.
I am thankful for worry. For it means I get to pray more.
I am thankful for my alarm. For it means I get to enjoy another day.
