I can not get over how beautiful this weather is - it's the middle of November and I am in a t-shirt and jeans. No jacket, and the sun is shining SO bright!
Today I am so grateful for the Bible. We can pray and talk to God, but the Scriptures are God's way of talking to us. I am in 2 Bible studies right now, and am starting up a 3rd on Tuesday. I normally only do one at a time, but circumstances.
I've been in the Ladies Bible Study Life Group since I started going to church here in August of last year. We normally do Beth Moore studies, and I love the fellowship and mentoring that happens during our time together.
This semester, I signed up for "Outfitting the Bible" with Rob Z, a beginner's look into the Bible and it's awesome. Even though it's designed for the beginner, I've learned a ton. I signed up since it's only 6 sessions, but I wish it was longer!
Tuesday I am starting a study with my friend Deanne. She asked if I would do one with her and we're doing Seamless by Angie Smith. It focuses on how Jesus is woven throughout the whole Bible and how all the books in the Bible are connected. It's a great starting place for anyone, not just beginners.
It's a season of study - one I hope never ends.
