Grateful Month - Day 14

Today I am grateful for my Erin Condren life planner.  Dorky?  Yes.  But I keep track of a lot of great things in there!  I have "planned" since I was 15 years old.  It was a formative year - I started journaling then, too.  I remember it was a big deal to have a Franklin Covey planner and my parents spoiled me with one to distract me from the pain of back surgery.  It worked, too!

When the smart (ish) phones came out and I got a blackberry (remember those?!) I still hung onto the paper planner.  But when I got an iPhone. Well!  I just had to use it for everything!

Until I started forgetting things.  And missing commitments.  The notifications would appear, and disappear so fast and I didn't remember.

Having a paper planner, the reminders don't disappear.  I saw Kari and Kelsey's planners (we call them EC for short) and still wasn't convinced.  Until I got one.  Oh em gee.  Changed my life.

After seeing all my commitments on paper (and I had something planned every night of the week for 6 weeks!!) I realized I am a yes person and needed to take a break.  Now I plan "no plan" days and it's glorious.

I just got my 3rd EC for 2017 and it's so fun.  One of the only places I'm creative and can keep track of all the things I need to remember.  They are so great, and I'll tell that to anyone who will listen!  And now 650 of my closest friends get to hear about it!

Tonight, I was able to plan my next girl's night out with Stacey and Lori (missed you tonight, my friend!) and it's one of my favorite things to schedule.  It's another reason of many I love living in Denver - I get to see my "old" friends often!  Great time tonight, Stacey!  Love hearing about your kiddos and our good chats.  Thanks for speaking "La"!!

If any of you want to get a planner, they have a great referral program.  Click the link below and your 2nd order will have $10 off and I will get $10 off my next order.
