Yesterday I worked from home. I had a break for lunch and needed to go across the street to King Soopers to get some water for Travis's fishing trip today. I decided to get sushi for lunch (they make THE best Spicy Crunch Roll) while I was there. On my way out, I thought, "OOOOHH. A sweet tea from McDonald's [in the same parking lot] sounds good! And if I'm getting that, a small fry sounds good, too!" Then I just prayed and prayed and prayed that God would take away my craving. It was a want, not a need! I got my groceries to the car and, without thinking, went the way home that didn't pass the McDonald's! I know that was all God! I didn't even consciously do it - I just realized it when I was at my street, almost home! Not only did He take away the craving, He literally guided me away from it. Praise!
Stuff like that happens to me all of the time. I'm going to start documenting them so I have help remembering them!
