Road To Good Health
On March 6, 2012, Travis & I, along with Nic & Ben started what we call the “Road to Good Health”. We have a whole plan: what we can eat when (healthily), when to exercise, food tracking, etc. All of the things that we need to have better health**. If we “cheat” it costs $5 per offense and at the end of 3 months, whoever has lost the most % weight wins the pot. And we’re doing that for 18 months – so there is 6 chances to win the pot. All of us have lost over 30 lbs each, but in the last several months have hit a plateau and stopped focusing on the plan. This “Destination: Transformation” is helping us all refocus and keep going towards our weight loss goals. My goal at the end of 18 months is to be at 143 lbs (that’s my favorite number and within the healthy weight for my height).
And today, I happily paid $5 into the “Road to Good Health” pot to have some movie popcorn.

*I’m going to come up with a new phrase for this. ”Loss” is usually associated with sadness and I don’t feel a bit sad about losing 6.2 pounds.
